Monday - and it was busy but not too busy. From entry to finish - the service was top star. Rob really looked after us. THE FOOD —— EXCEPTIONAL! We had the cheese burger and added some bacon. The best we have had in a long while. Tried a local beer HOP HEN - and enjoyed it. Pleasant on the palette! This will be a go to when on the area.

Earlier we had lunch at Miss Marple Tea Room and after an hour or more going through the shops at Sassafras, we chance upon this cafe to rest our legs. Service & Ambience [3.5] When we step into the cafe, a group is waiting in front of us. There isn't much room after we are in and next group has to be outside. We didn't wait long to have a table. Service time is acceptable and friendly staff. Nice to sit by the fireplace as the day seems cold. Food [4]. We enjoy the coffee and tea, the lint raspberry cheese cake and almond croissant are good but vanilla slice cake is ok, as we had better one. Perhaps we will try their food when back to Sassafras again.

We did not have any napkins and cutlery at the table. We were not served any water. And at the very end of my iced mocha, I got some object out, which is like a piece paper or onion? out of the straw from the drink. It was not expected with its price.

Very friendly service, really tasty food. My only complaint would be that service was a little slow, but they were busy and from what I could see the kitchen is tiny. Definitely FIVE STARS I'll certainly go back!!!

Food and service good. I had the Harvest Plate and my partner had the chicken. Their Spicy Ginger cookie was yum. Staff member was really helpful.

Service was good, atmosphere was nice. The big breakfast wasn't overly big and the spinach tasted like it was cooked in salt water which over powered the taste of everything else. It also had lettuce taking up the plate making it harder to eat. Was alright but didn't quite live up to the price

We absolutely loved the look and feel of this place. Very warm, inviting atmosphere specially on a summer morning sitting at the back deck close to the greenery. Food was good too, but a bit on the expensive side. We were there for brunch and ordered a big breakfast and a vegetarian medley and some coffee which costed over $80. Scrambled tofu on the toasted sourdough was nice but the flavours were a little bit overpowering. The potato rosti in the big breakfast was also good but was a bit hard. Resturant was very busy, make sure to make a reservation and note there is a surcharge on Saturday. Finally the staff was great , smiling and helpful. I give 5 stars for the restaurant and 4 for the Food. Highly recommended to try.

The best (and only?) place to enjoy a plant based feast up on the range. Exceptional assortment of Vegan meals and a very accommodating staff. I will return!
